Plumbing Service Manager
About the Role:
The Plumbing Service Manager will oversee and coordinate all plumbing service operations to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery across residential and commercial projects. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in plumbing preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and safety regulations applicable in the United States.
- Proven ability to manage teams, schedules, and customer service operations effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification as a Master Plumber or equivalent professional plumbing license.
- Experience with plumbing service management software and inventory control systems.
- Demonstrated success in budgeting, cost control, and process improvement initiatives.
- Strong background in customer relationship management and conflict resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the plumbing service team, including scheduling, dispatching, and supervising plumbers and technicians.
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing inquiries and resolving service issues promptly.
- Oversee inventory management of plumbing supplies and equipment to ensure availability and cost control.
- Prepare and manage budgets, track expenses, and generate performance reports for senior management.
- Recruit, train, and mentor plumbing staff to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to guarantee high standards of workmanship.
- Collaborate with other departments such as sales and procurement to streamline service delivery and customer satisfaction.
